Industrial Ethernet Device Server from ORingNet
Device servers integrate devices with RS-232 or RS-485 interfaces into the LAN. They enable communication from the network PC to frequency converters, laboratory balances, PLC controllers and similar devices via a "virtual" COM port, which functions in exactly the same way as if one were connected to the device directly via a real COM port and serial cable. The industrial ethernet ORingNet device servers are suitable for DIN-rail mounting or in the 19" rack version for control cabinet installation. Wireless integration of serial terminals via WLAN or transmission via optical fiber (FO) is also possible. When used in pairs, a "serial tunnel" can be set up via the network.
