Industrial Ethernet Extender from ORingNet
Ethernet extenders extend the LAN using VDSL technology over conventional twisted 2-wire cables such as telephone lines. The industrial Ethernet extenders from ORingNet achieve a maximum transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s in the downstream at a distance of up to 200m and approx. 5 Mbit/s at a maximum distance of 2400m. The real achievable transmission rate depends considerably on the type of 2-wire cable used. When used in pairs, one extender is operated in CO mode (server side), the other in CPE mode (client side).
