Industrial media converter for DIN rail from ORingNet

Media converters for the DIN rail are used where individual fiber optic connections are to be integrated into the copper cable network. The industrial ORingNet media converters have an RJ-45 connector on the copper side and either an SC socket or an SFP slot on the optical fiber side, into which a suitable SFP module is to be inserted. When selecting the ORingNet media converter or the SFP transceiver module, the desired speed (100Mbit/s, 1000Mbit/s), the FO type (multimode, singlemode) and, if necessary, the wavelength (850nm, 1310nm, 1550nm) must be taken into account.
