Switch Accessories - SFP Transceiver Modules from ORingNet
An SFP transceiver module is inserted into the designated slot on the switch, thus providing it with a fully functional optical port. The fiber optic cable with LC connector to be connected is plugged directly into the LC socket of the SFP transceiver module. Not the switch, but the SFP transceiver module determines the type of fiber optic cable to be connected. ORingNet's switch accessories, i.e. all SFP transceiver modules are suitable for multimode connections up to 2 km, singlemode up to 120 km, bidirectional (BiDi) connections via 1-strand cable, optionally also with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) function.
